A film is the realization of someone's dream. Drawing for film projects has made me aware of my relationship with cinema. I am not a scholar of the seventh art. I don't know films, directors, or the anecdotes that shaped this medium by heart. But I can say that I have devoured hours and hours of cinema, absorbing its visual language into my subconscious.

Working as an illustrator for film and advertising has made me feel that I could contribute something of my own, that I was the right person for the job—it made me feel useful. Movies have perhaps been my main source of inspiration. Ideas I've built upon without fully knowing where they come from. Cinema is a medium that enhances and projects my creativity, but for me it is the starting point toward something more.
